Effective Church Administration
The efficient and effective management of the church is essential to ministry. This workshop session will give practical tools and guidelines to those who serve in the area of administration. Those who are interested in enhancing their administrative skills would benefit greatly from information shared in this session
Spiritual & Ministerial Boundaries
Spiritual boundaries help to define our spiritual “Core” self, while ministerial boundaries help to ward off potential problems (within the church) and protect those within their guardianship. This workshop is designed to help us understand how the two are linked, and how healthy or unhealthy spiritual boundaries dictate our respect for boundaries within the local church.
Impactful Children's Ministry...Equipping Them to be World Changers. Christian Leaders & God Chasers
Children are the most important aspect of a growing church. They are the ones who will carry the message of Christ into the next generation. But how do you reach children of this generation? How do you make children world changers and God chasers through children's ministry? This workshop will give you the keys to unlocking and unleashing the power of God through a ministry for children.
A Servants Heart - Ministry of the Armor Bearer
The Adjutancy is a ministry of service and support to the members of the Board of Bishops, their spouses, dignitaries, and special guests as assigned. The Adjutancy strives to uphold the principals of protocol, order, and worship. We accomplish this by “doing what is right at the proper time”. Under the direction of the National Board of Adjutants Executive Council, the adjutancy endeavors to maintain a spirit of excellence as we serve. Jesus said “whosoever of you will be chiefest, shall be servant of all”. Throughout the session, the adjutant will learn how to provide service to God, and His leaders, vestment management, and liturgical worship. Our primary mission is to sanctify the leader in the eyes of the people.
"Journeying Together: Partnership With Local Clergy, VA Chaplains and Community Leaders in Caring For Our Returning Combat Veterans"
Our newest Veterans often return from war directly into our communities. Since many were activated from the National Guard or Reserves, most do not return to a military community (base). This workshop will provide Pastors some of the tools and information needed to minister to the incredible challenges facing these Veterans and their families.
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Lunch - Atrium
1:15 pm - 2:45 pm Workshop Session II
Out There & In Here - Youth Evangelism & Discipleship
Youth ministries are successful when they retain balance among relational dynamics, theological thinking and activities that shapes a system of discipleship. This workshop will provide techniques and suggestions for contacting unbelieving youth and developing a training process to disciple new believers.
Pastors & Ministers Wives –Panel Discussion moderated by Lady Winsome Saunders. Featuring panelists, Mother Alberta Saunders, Mother Elease Lorick, Mother Annie Burroughs and Co-pastor Ernestine Lewis.
This session is designed specifically for the pastors and ministers wife and will facilitate a discussion that will engage and enrich those who serve alongside their husbands in ministry.
Preaching for Impact
The purpose of the workshop is to increase the participant’s confidence and ability in rightly handling God’s Word, with special emphasis on preaching sermons that make a difference in everyday life. Participants will be encouraged to prepare and deliver sermons that are both intensely biblical and relevant for today’s world. The following principles will be used as the basis for this workshop
1. Sermon Preparation
2. Sermon Illustration
3. Sermon Delivery
Stir Up The Gifts of God in You
No one can beat you being you. Why is that? Because, only you were gifted to be you. Unfortunately, we minimize our gift by comparing it to someone else’s, or we waste so much time emulating someone else’s gift that we neglect developing our own. God has given each of us at least one gift and in most cases several. This workshop session will discuss how to stir (wake up, mobilize) the gift that is within you and will also give tools to assist others through empowerment towards the full utilization of the gift of God in them. In this session, we will be challenged to mature our own God given gifts for the cause of Christ.
Ambassadors for Christ
This workshop session will share with attendees the Ambassadors for Christ Outreach ministry. The purpose and mission of this ministry is tied to leading others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We will share during this session on how to take advantage of the opportunities that the Lord provides and how to translate that in your evangelistic efforts, outreach ministry, personal contacts in the church and involvement with unbelievers
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm. Workshop Session III
Take What you Have, Make What You Want: Starting from Scratch
How often have we heard, “Our church can’t do that. We just don’t have the resources.” Brandon Cox says: “A lack of resources is merely an opportunity to be extra creative.” This exciting workshop will challenge its participants to “do ministry” while waiting on the perfect conditions.
"Cre@te-N-Innov8: #GetRelevant - Digital Marketing & PR"
The Internet plays an ever-increasingly important role in our lives, both, personally and professionally. For churches and ministries, the internet, more specifically, Digital or Social Media networks, can aid greatly in broadening platforms, globally, and can serve as a method of amplifying what is being communicated, internally and externally, at little to no cost. The purpose of this workshop is to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the following:
1) Concepts of Digital Marketing
2) A range of innovative approaches to use in your churches & ministries
3) Strategies to apply these ideas, resulting in increased relevance, digitally. Why? Because going digital takes your message far beyond what paper can
Care Enough to Share…..Mentoring That Matters
Senior Pastors are challenged to walk a fine line in bringing along new ministers of the gospel. This workshop focuses on how to partner in leadership and ministry without intimidation.
Internally Focusing to Outwardly Impact Our Environment
Mission driven workers in the church are essential. The Church needs faithful and dedicated saints. Yet as we focus on the mission, we must never lose sight of the One who has commissioned us. This workshop, 'Internally Focusing to Outwardly Impact Our Environment" is centered around repositioning our hearts, minds and motives to please the One who has called us into this wonderful work.
The Seniors Place in Ministry in a Youth Focused World
Seniors are the Five Stars Generals in the Church of God. There is no age for retirement as God expects us to bring forth fruit in old age. Ps. 92:14 This session will appeal to those who are not seniors as they will be enlightened and informed. Seniors will be inspired, encouraged and challenged to "greater works" for the kingdom of God.
4:30 – 4:45 p.m. Afternoon Break
4:45 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. Workshop Session IV

Foreign Missions
Beyond the walls of our beautiful sanctuaries lies a waiting world of souls whose hunger for a kind word, an outstretched hand, or an introduction to the Savior never ceases, Experience the blessed rewards that fill hearts of those who are drawn to the ministry of mission.
Altar Ministry
Altar workers are essential to the mission and vision of the church as they provide the counsel and care for members and visitors. This workshop session will provide training for new and experienced altar workers to enhance ministry to those in need. “Ministry through Web Empowerment: Connecting with People through Websites, Social Media & More.”
